Our story.
B&B Airone was born from a family dream, one of those dreams that stay in your head and in your heart for a long time, until one day you decide to really believe in it.
Behind Airone are the two of us, Seraina and Gian-Marco, together with our family. We wanted to create something of our own, a place where we could put a little of ourselves and welcome people with simplicity, warmth and authenticity.
Airone grew little by little. It took a lot of work, ideas, sacrifices, long days and many weekends to turn what we had imagined into something real. We put care into every space and chose many small details, thinking about how we wanted whoever walked through that door one day to feel.
But perhaps we only really understood the loveliest meaning of this project when the first guests arrived.

Airone is our home, but when we open the door it becomes, for a while, a little bit your home too.

Today every person who walks through the door of Airone gives an even deeper meaning to what we have built. Every encounter, every story, every smile, every word left in our guest book reminds us why we began.
For us this does not simply mean offering somewhere to sleep. It means opening up a small part of our home and our life, meeting people who perhaps come from far away, and making sure that, even if only for a few days, they feel welcomed and at ease.
Airone also lets us live out something we had wanted for a long time: working from home, being more present for our family and our animals and, at the same time, devoting ourselves to something we truly love — looking after the people we welcome.
Today we can say that dream has come true. But the loveliest part is discovering that it comes alive again every time a new guest arrives.
Why Magnolia, Rosmarino and Lavanda?
The names of our three places to stay were not chosen by chance either.
When we started giving shape to the spaces, we realised that each one was taking on a character of its own, through colours, details and different atmospheres.
As we talked about it with friends and people close to us, the idea slowly took shape of naming each room and apartment after a plant that reflected its harmony and, at the same time, carried a small meaning.
Magnolia — a symbol of strength, dignity and perseverance.
Rosmarino — a symbol of memories, bonds and faithfulness.
Lavanda — a symbol of serenity, harmony and calm.
We also chose these names as a small wish. We like to think that every guest who steps into our accommodation can take a little of what they stand for with them: the strength to walk their own path, the value of memories and bonds, and the kind of calm that sometimes only takes a few days away from everyday life to find again.
In the end, this is what we would like to leave with everyone who passes through Airone: not only the memory of a stay, but a small feeling to take home with them.
